Software Engineer

At this time of rapid expansion, TXT e-Tech , a company belonging to the TXT Group, is seeking a Software Engineer for its Aerospace & Aviation Business Unit , who will join the Modelling & Simulation team. The candidate, with at least 1 year’s experience, will be responsible for providing support to various clients in the field of training simulation within the aerospace, defence and transport sectors. Main responsibilities :
- Development of Windows-only desktop applications in .NET C#;
- Bug fixing and software maintenance;
- Drafting of all documentation;
- Application testing.
Required technical skills :
- Good Knowledge of object-oriented programming;
- Good Knowledge of key software development patterns;
- Good Knowledge of the C# programming language;
- Basic knowledge of concurrent programming;
- Basic knowledge of the TCP/IP standard;
- Basic knowledge of relational databases;
- Knowledge of graphical frameworks such as WinForms;
- Knowledge of UI/UX development principles.
Knowledge of the ARINC 429 protocol is a PLUS. Education : A diploma or degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. The ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for and curiosity about technology, is proactive and adept at problem-solving,
and possesses good communication and organisational skills. They are able to work both as part of a team and independently, organising their workload effectively. - The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 30.000 € and EUR 33.000 € gross per year, depending on the candidate’s skills;
- The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
