The Company World-class leader in the cosmetic industry Senior R&D; Formulator – automatic pencils THE ROLE Researching raw materials used in cosmetics, such as botanicals, preservatives, fragrance ingredients, emulsifiers, surfactants, and emollients Developing new products using existing formulas as templates for new items Conducting testing on new formulas to ensure safety and efficacy Applying knowledge of chemistry and biology to create safe and effective formulas for consumers Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and preferences regarding product type and brand identity Combining ingredients according to formulas and creating color blends to achieve desired effects Performing product testing for compatibility with production machinery and shelf-life stability Managing and evaluating the feasibility of new projects Preparing prototypes and monitoring their stability Coordinating deliveries with the commercial and marketing departments Drafting bills of materials (BOMs)
Scaling up and industrializing new products in collaboration with the production department REQUIREMENTS At least 3 years of experience in the formulation of mechanical/automatic pencils A degree in Chemistry / Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies / Pharmacy / Biology is a plus, but not mandatory Fluent/Excellent knowledge of English Good knowledge of / Ability to quickly learn the materials and procedures used Strong organizational and self-management skills High attention to detail and precision Ability to work effectively in a team Strong communication skills with both internal (Marketing) and external clients Ability to understand and interpret client requirements Drafting reporting documentation to support created formulas (stability, compatibility, technical data sheets, etc.) LOCATION: Crema/ Monza Brianza SALARY: RAL starting from €50.000 Please send your CV to: aurora.paiola@ Ref: Senior R&D; Formulator – automatic pencils
