ppbOur client, a global Tier 1 leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and clean energy solutions, is seeking an experienced finance manager to join its finance team in Milan, Italy. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-growing organization at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting the expansion of utility-scale and commercial energy storage projects across Europe. /b /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliManage and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements. /liliLead accounting, financial reporting, and disclosure activities. /liliEnsure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing. /liliSupport external audits, reconciliations, and resolution of accounting discrepancies. /liliReview employee expenses and oversee payment approval processes. /liliPrepare and manage Profit Loss (PL) and Cash Flow (CF) budgets and forecasts. /liliParticipate in financial projects and cross-functional business initiatives. /liliMaintain the Fixed Assets Register and coordinate inventory stock takes.
/liliPartner with IT and other functions to support finance system improvements and process optimization. /liliUndertake additional finance and business support activities as required. /li /ulpbRequirements /b /pulliBachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. /liliMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting within Italy or Argentina. /liliStrong knowledge of local fiscal, tax, and accounting regulations. /liliSolid understanding of local GAAP and IFRS, familiarity with China GAAP would be advantageous. /liliExperience in multinational or international business environments preferred. /liliStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /liliProactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. /liliProfessional proficiency in English is required for this role.
