Work Model: On-site, with occasional travel within Italy and Europe
Reporting to: GM, EU Metal Cutting
Key Interfaces: European Sales, Application Engineering, Service, Product Management, and China-based R&D; and Engineering teams
Fixed annual gross salary: €30,000 - €40,000 RAL paid over 14 monthly salaries.
Variable premio plan: Performance-related incentive arrangements are also provided. Further details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
Mission:
Support the technical interface between European customers, local commercial and service teams, and Hymson’s headquarters in China. Help translate customer needs into clear and actionable technical requirements, contribute to solution development and technical pre-sales activities, and support the successful evaluation and adoption of laser metal cutting and automation solutions.
Through structured training, hands-on project exposure, and close collaboration with experienced colleagues, the successful candidate will gradually develop into an independent Solutions Engineer.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer & requirement engineering: Gather customer needs and translate them into clear technical requirements and specifications covering mechanical systems, motion/control, sensors, automation interfaces, safety, and performance. Support the preparation of structured requirement documents for HQ R&D; and Product Line Management.
- Technical pre-sales & sales support: Support opportunity qualification with Sales, prepare technical inputs for proposals and quotations, and explain system capabilities and limitations to customers in a clear and professional manner.
- Demonstrations & evaluations: Participate in technical demonstrations and trials in showrooms or at customer sites, including setup, parameter tuning, performance verification, and process optimization, together with application and service teams.
