Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Customs Specialist to support import/export operations, ensuring compliance with customs & trade regulations. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in tariff classification, customs valuation, origin, trade agreements, and customs documentation.
The role reports functionally to the Global Customs Compliance Manager.
As a Customs Specialist, You Will Be Responsible For
- Supporting tariff classification activities & maintaining the correct customs classification of products.
- Verifying customs valuation elements & supporting the correct determination of customs value.
- Supporting origin assessment activities, including preferential and non-preferential origin, and the application of trade agreements where applicable.
- Managing and reviewing customs documentation for imports/exports, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Supporting the correct application of customs procedures & special customs regimes, in line with business and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining customs records and monitoring customs entries to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborating with internal departments such as Logistics, and Tax to ensure alignment on customs & trade compliance matter
