Senior Civil & Structural Coordinator
Acting as the primary technical reference for the Civil and Structural discipline, he/she will manage technical inputs across all project stages—from feasibility and concept design to detailed engineering and construction. He/she will be responsible for coordinating internal CAD designers and calculation specialists while simultaneously defining and undertaking the technical review of all documentation, drawings, and reports prepared by third-party engineering service providers or external civil works contractors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing civil engineering technical input into large-scale EPC projects at various stages, from feasibility to preliminary and detailed design, construction and operational stages;
- Undertaking feasibility and concept level civil designs for renewable projects including cost estimation and draft preparation;
- Coordinating the detailed design of concrete foundations and structures, steel structures and domes through CAD and FEA analysis software;
- Defining and undertaking technical reviews of civil engineering design documentation (architectural/structural drawings and calculation reports) including the review of studies prepared by third-party engineering service providers;
- Preparing material requisitions and material take-offs for requests for quotation, supporting the purchasing department in the technical alignment of offers for civil works and materials;
- Contributing to the preparation of technical reports and specifications to a high-quality standard including application of relevant standards, codes and local regulations;
