Production Specialist

- Manage and monitor all aspects of assigned product categories to achieve quality, timing, and cost objectives
- Oversee and coordinate the full production cycle from order confirmation to final delivery
- Monitor production progress and seasonal delivery schedules
- Communicate daily with suppliers to track status, resolve issues, and ensure quality and timing compliance
- Oversee size grading development and validate measurements and technical feasibility
- Communicate size, fit, technical, and measurement adjustments to Merchandising, Development, Design, and Product Development teams
- Collaborate with Technical and Quality teams to ensure graded garments meet brand fit and proportion standards
- Oversee approval of PPS/TOP samples
- Coordinate factory visits and quality checks during production and before shipment
- Maintain production records, timelines, and delivery schedules in PLM and ERP systems
- Update production tracking sheets and highlight risks or delays
- Support the Production Manager with KPI reporting on deliveries, cost analysis, and supplier performance
- Partner with Product Development, Planning, Merchandising, and Logistics across production phases
- Provide pre-production input on manufacturability, size consistency, and cost alignment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Production, Textile Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fashion production
- Strong technical understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and size grading
- Proven experience managing external suppliers and production partners
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
- Proficient in PLM systems (Centric preferred), Excel, and ERP tools
- Detail-oriented and technically precise
- Strong follow-up and multitasking ability
- Clear communicator and effective cross-function
