The Role
The Regional Director of Group Sales leads the Proactive Group Sales and Group & Event Sales teams across Northern and Southern Italy. Working closely with the Area Directors of Sales, Sales Managers and hotels leadership teams, this role is responsible for defining and executing the regional Group Sales strategy to maximise revenue, market share and profitability across the region.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Proactive Group Sales and Group & Event Sales teams across Northern and Southern Italy.
- Define and execute the regional Group Sales strategy to achieve commercial objectives.
- Drive new business opportunities while growing existing strategic accounts.
- Oversee the qualification, conversion and management of all Group Sales opportunities.
- Partner with Revenue Management, Marketing, Event Planning and Operations to maximise commercial performance.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and market trends to drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Represent Rocco Forte Hotels at client meetings, trade shows and sales missions.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, people development and succession planning.
