Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners specialized in the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is looking for a Data Governance Project Manager for our client, an insurance company.
Role's Description The Project Manager is part of the Change Management team and reports directly to the Senior Project Manager responsible for the Company's Change Portfolio. The role is positioned at the heart of the organization's transformation agenda, supporting the delivery of strategic, regulatory, operational, and business initiatives across all functions of the Company.
Working in a dynamic and highly regulated insurance environment, the Project Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end projects, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, business objectives, governance standards, budget, timelines, and expected benefits. The role requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders across Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and external partners.
In addition to direct project delivery responsibilities, the Project Manager contributes to the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of the Company's project portfolio. This includes supporting portfolio governance processes, project prioritization exercises, resource planning, reporting, and the preparation of management dashboards to facilitate decision-making at Executive Committee level.
The role also includes responsibilities for selected cross-functional initiatives, particularly the launch of new insurance products and product evolutions. In this context, the Project Manager acts as the central coordination point among all business and support functions involved in the product lifecycle, ensuring that activities, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and regulatory requirements are effectively managed from design to market launch. Data governance group stream must be supervised and supported by this role.
Requirements:
- University Degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience in Project Management within the insurance, banking, financial services, or highly regulated sectors. Knowledge of life and P&C; insurance business is considered an advantage
- Fluent English (written and oral)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a complex stakeholder environment
- Planning, risk management, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
- Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both operational teams and senior executives
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Project portfolio management and reporting tools
- Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented approach
Economics : 45k-50k + premio Location : Milan, 1 day of remote work per week.
