We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our digital transformation team in Genoa, Italy. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
- Work collaboratively with senior engineers to learn best practices in software design, testing, and deployment
- Debug issues and contribute to improvements across frontend interfaces, backend services, and cloud infrastructure
- Learn and adapt to different technology stacks as you work on projects for various business units
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to continuously improve your craft
- Take ownership of well-defined features and technical tasks with guidance from the team
- Expand your technical skillset by working with new frameworks, tools, and approaches
- Collaborate with teammates across different business units to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1-2 years of professional software development experience (internships are considered)
- Completed at least one significant software project from inception to deployment
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and take on technical challenges
- Experience working in team environments and collaborating with others
Technical Skills
- Understanding of web application concepts (HTTP, REST APIs, client-server architecture)
- Exposure to modern web dev
