Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Finance Manager to support BYD’s finance and leasing activities in a specific European market. This role focuses on developing, coordinating, and implementing local retail, captive leasing and any other finance solutions in close cooperation with local internal teams and external partners (banks, leasing companies, and dealers, etc. ). The position requires strong financial acumen, experience in auto finance/leasing, and excellent stakeholder management skills to support BYD’s business growth in the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
Auto Finance / Captive Lease
- Work with local finance, sales, aftersales and legal teams to develop and roll out finance programs.
- Design and manage retail and business finance products (leasing, loans, balloon, etc.) to support BYD’s sales targets.
- Partner with banks and leasing companies to optimise offers, pricing and customer experience.
- Track portfolio performance (penetration, margin, risk) and report insights to management.Wholesale & Dealer Financing
- Establish and manage relationships with local banks, lenders, and other financial partners to secure competitive funding lines.
- Negotiate wholesale credit facilities to support BYD’s dealer network development and expansion in the country.
- Optimise floorplan (inventory) financing structures to align dealer stock levels with local market demand.
- Conduct financial health assessments for franchise/dealer partners and provide risk-based recommendations.
