The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Key Account Manager (M/F/*) for Priority Vertical Market of IATD (Industrial Adhesive & Tapes Division) at 3M Italy, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Manage and develop strategic key accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Identify growth opportunities and execute account development plans
- Leading automation process of adhesives and tapes in key customers
- Support complex projects in collaboration with technical, marketing, and operational teams
- Lead annual Account Planning, including forecasting and performance tracking
- Ensure effective pipeline management through consistent CRM usage
- Analyze sales data to drive insights and recommend actions
Your Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics or equivalent experience in business-to-end‑user sales
- From 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B key account management
- Knowledge of adhesives, tapes,
or related chemical products
- Strong communication, negotiation, prospecting and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with AI tools and concepts
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead complex initiatives
- Excellent English
- Knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
- Willingness to travel frequently with overnight stays
Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- EAS (European Adhesive Specialist) certification
- Knowledge of industrial or technical markets
Job specifics:
- Travel expectations: may include up to 50% (domestic, mainly in North Italy but as per business needs occasionally at National level)
- Field based role
- Working pattern: tempo pieno
