Missions: The In Room Dining Chef De Rang is responsible for delivering a polished and welcoming guest experience, with a strong emphasis on exceptional telephone etiquette. As the primary point of contact for in‑room dining requests, the role requires clear communication, attentive listening, and a warm, professional manner. Through accurate order‑taking, efficient coordination, and consistent follow‑up, the Chef de Rang ensures that every guest interaction reflects the highest standards of service and contributes to a seamless and memorable dining experience.
Profile:
The In Room Dining Chef De Rang handles all incoming guest calls with polished telephone etiquette, ensuring clear communication and accurate order‑taking while confirming preferences, dietary needs, and special requests. The role includes providing menu guidance and recommendations, coordinating order preparation with the kitchen and service teams, and ensuring timely, well‑presented delivery. Responsibilities also include preparing trays and trolleys to standard, delivering and clearing orders with discretion and professionalism, maintaining accurate records and billing, following up on guest satisfaction, and upholding cleanliness, safety, and food‑handling standards in all areas of the In Room Dining operation.
