Role Description The CMP Module Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Milan. This role oversees the Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) module within the manufacturing process, ensuring stable, efficient, and high-yield production. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring process performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating equipment maintenance and upgrades, and resolving technical issues impacting quality or throughput.

The CMP Module Manager collaborates with process engineers, equipment specialists, and production teams to implement best practices, support new product introductions,



and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves reporting key performance indicators, managing documentation, and contributing to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall fab performance.

Qualifications

- Strong background in semiconductor manufacturing processes, preferably with specific experience in CMP or related wafer processing modules.
- Proficiency in data analysis, process monitoring, and problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance practices, reliability concepts, and continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience working in a cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Good command of English; Italian language skills are an advantage for local collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving production and technology needs.
