Purpose
Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
is a pivotal field-based role that connects GSK to the healthcare community. This non-promotional, customer-facing position focuses on advancing clinical practice within an assigned territory to improve patient outcomes. As an integrated member of the MSL Pipeline team, MSL supports multiple pipeline assets and therapeutic areas according to evolving business and medical priorities. The MSL brings deep scientific and clinical expertise, together with market/landscape knowledge to engage with Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and account personnel, in alignment with GSK's medical strategies and plans. Key objectives of MSL include engaging with various community and academic experts across the relevant pipeline therapeutic areas, including those at clinical trial sites, facilitating scientific exchange, and serving as a medical resource.
