Job Description

If you are a Business Development Manager professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this is your chance to play a key role in expanding Emerson’s Natural Gas business across Italy. Based in Seregno or Bologna, you will drive business development activities with a special focus on Southern Italy, working closely with OEMs and industrial users. This role blends strategic direction with hands‑on execution, requiring a proactive, hunter mindset and the ability to independently identify and develop new opportunities while collaborating across teams.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Define and execute commercial development plans aligned with business unit and country strategies.
- Actively identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities, particularly within OEMs and industrial users in Southern Italy.
- Promote Emerson’s full portfolio of solutions, including lifecycle services, integrated systems, and gas technologies.
- Drive lifecycle services growth across the national territory,



collaborating closely with operations and execution teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, technical stakeholders, and decision‑makers through regular engagement, networking, and site visits.
- Manage the full opportunity lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with proposal, engineering, operations, and other business units to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and enhance offerings.
- Maintain accurate and consistent reporting through CRM systems and sales tools, dedicating time daily to pipeline management and forecasting.
- Contribute to forecasting and provide regular updates to leadership to support business planning and performance tracking.
- Operate in line with Emerson’s ethics, compliance, and quality standards at all times.
