We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Italy and support the growth of our bakery ingredients business within the industrial and mid-sized customer segment.
Working in close partnership with both commercial and technical teams at local and EMEA level, this role offers an excellent career opportunity within a truly international environment at one of Europe’s leading ingredients companies.
The successful candidate will be based in Cologne (BS) and will spend a significant proportion of their time travelling to customers and business partners.
This is a full-time position.

About the role
The purpose of this role is to lead business growth in the Italian bakery ingredients market by promoting and expanding an innovative,
high-quality product portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key industrial customers.
Key responsibilities
- Promote safe working practices and ensure health and safety standards are upheld.
- Drive business growth in the Italian bakery ingredients market through commercial and technical development activities;
- Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions in collaboration with commercial and technical teams;
- Develop strong relationships with key industrial customers and relevant internal stakeholders at local and EMEA level;
- Contribute to the country technology roadmap and support the implementation of innovation and application projects. xdwybme
