The person will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing non-ferrous metals from individuals, businesses, and industrial facilities.
The primary goal will be to identify non-ferrous metals and negotiate fair prices, while adhering to recycling regulations and fostering strong relationships within the non-ferrous metals community.
Responsabilities
- Identify various grades of non-ferrous metals .
- Evaluate the quality and quantity of non-ferrous metals to determine their value and suitability for recycling.
- Safely and accurately store non-ferrous metals.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations throughout the buying process.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, weights, and prices.
- Bale, shear, and sort materials for shipping and receiving.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, metal prices, and industry developments to make informed buying decisions.
- Collaborate with the recycling team to optimize processes and contribute to the overall success of the recycling operation. xbvzest
