Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. /b /ppWe are seeking an experiencedProject Planner that will supportsupport Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC). You will lead facilities planning, real estate, and master planning projects while ensuring compliance with DoD, Navy, applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. /ppbThis position is contingent upon contract award of the contract. If awarded, the anticipated period of performance will be approximately five years with six months potential extension. /b /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3ulliLead and manage facilities planning, real estate actions, and master planning projects for DoD and government facilities. /liliDevelop and coordinate planning solutions for multi-disciplinary/trade, vertical, and horizontal construction projects. /liliApply DoD and Navy planning criteria, guide specifications, policies, IBC, NFPA 101, and applicable industry codes and standards. /liliEvaluate the impact of architectural and engineering disciplines on master planning and land-use decisions. /liliReview and develop technical drawings, specifications, SOWs, and contract document changes for complex planning and design projects. /liliEnsure planning and design activities comply with applicable local, state, federal, and host nation laws, codes, and statutory requirements.
/liliMonitor planning and design projects to ensure successful and timely completion within budget. /liliUse GIS, Microsoft Office, architectural design and analysis software, and applicable DoD systems to support planning activities. /liliPrepare technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations for Government personnel. /li /ulh3Qualifications to be successful in the role: /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited college or university, supplemented by substantial hands‑on facilities planning experience. /liliMinimum ten (10) years of professional, code‑compliant facilities planning experience for real estate actions, master planning, and adjacent design experience on U.S. Department of Defense or similar government agency projects. /liliKnowledge of related architectural and engineering fields and their associated impacts as related to planning. /liliAbility to read, write, and speak fluent English (CEFR C1 level preferred, minimum B2). /liliMust successfully pass required security background investigations. /li /ulpPlanate Management Group is an Aff…? /ppJoining the Planate team opens you to an experience working for a Global company where you are among a team that is considered a premier trusted partner for planning, design, engineering, asset management, and professional service solutions anytime, anywhere.
