From our Milan office, BAX Digital develops and maintains the e-commerce platforms and websites used across the Group's companies, promoting Made in Italy craftsmanship and tradition through modern digital tools.
Why we are recruiting
As our digital footprint grows across the Group's fashion, media and lifestyle brands, we are strengthening our in-house web and e-commerce team. We are looking for someone who can own our Magento-based online stores end to end and keep our web infrastructure reliable, fast and secure.
Position Title – E-Commerce / Web Specialist, 100%, Milan
You will work within BAX Digital, reporting to IT Management, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Group's e-commerce platforms and websites across all Group companies.
Your responsibilities
- Maintaining and developing our Magento back end (core of your role).
- Developing and enhancing the Group's e-commerce websites.
- Building and maintaining websites and SharePoint-based web solutions.
- Monitoring web analytics and preparing regular performance reporting.
- Overseeing web hosting for the Group's digital properties.
Your profile
- Three to five years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong command of Magento, both back end and front end integration.
- Solid front-end skills: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, responsive and UX/UI design.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
- Back-end skills in PHP and MySQL; familiarity with Java, Ruby, C# or Python is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Git and APIs; SEO skills are a plus.
- An analytical mindset and a hands-on, reliable way of working.
- Italian and English to a professional standard; German is a plus.
