Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Adolescent/Child Safeguarding & Exploitation Specialist to work on a Full-time basis. You will assess risks related to child exploitation and abuse, develop safeguarding protocols, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement protective measures for vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats to adolescent and child safety within operational contexts.

Develop and update safeguarding policies and procedures to align with evolving regulations and best practices.

Provide training and guidance to staff on recognizing signs of exploitation, abuse, and grooming behaviors.

Investigate reported incidents of child exploitation or abuse, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.

Collaborate with external stakeholders, including law enforcement and child protection agencies, to address systemic risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in child protection, safeguarding,
or related fields with a minimum of 3 years in a specialist role.

Knowledge of international child protection frameworks, such as UNCRC, and local safeguarding legislation.

Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop actionable mitigation strategies for vulnerable populations.

Ability to conduct investigations into exploitation cases while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.

Proficiency in developing training materials and delivering sessions on safeguarding protocols to diverse audiences.
