Job Description
As a Technical Service Support for Milking, you will be the technical expert for our automatic milking robots. Your role is to support our Lely Centers in delivering excellent technical service, developing their expertise and ensuring our solutions perform at their best. By working closely with technicians, customers and Lely International, you will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.
Qualifications
What will you do?
- Provide second-line technical support to Lely Center technicians by resolving complex technical issues through phone, remote support and ticket management.
- Deliver technical training courses and hands-on workshops to help Lely Center technicians develop their knowledge and skills.
- Support the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Lely milking robots and herd management software when additional technical expertise is required.
- Visit farms to perform technical audits,
validate solutions in the field and support technicians during critical interventions.
- Test and validate new products, features and technical solutions, providing structured feedback to Lely International to support continuous improvement.
- technical knowledge and best practices across the network of Lely Centers.
- You monthly participate in the hotline (24/7), providing technical support to the field technicians.
- Occasionally travel to the Lely Campus in the Netherlands or to other Clusters for training, meetings and international projects.
We would like you to apply if you
- Hold a Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science or a related field, with at least 2–3 years of experience in a technical service or engineering role, or hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline where prior work experience is not required.
