Job Overview: The Project Director is accountable for the financial and technical success of the project and to lead Project and Discipline managers/leads to achieve project objectives. They must develop and maintain a positive relationship with clients that leads to future work. The Project Director mentors and coaches future leaders and is respected as a leader externally by multiple clients. They apply an advanced understanding of Mc Dermott's business to improve project cost-effectiveness, apply change management, risk management, and opportunity management principles, and improve project margin across projects. They are responsible for developing the project execution plan under new lines of the business that leverage company and industry capabilities. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Manage large complex EPFC projects that may have multiple Project Managers or Alliance project programs Manage projects with a total installed cost typically exceeding $500 Million USD, from inception to project completion. Act as Mc Dermott's principal representative,
responsible for all matters pertaining to the project and project execution in accordance with the contract, the Project's Execution Plan, and the project's HSE, project security, quality, schedule, and financial goals Accountable to Mc Dermott Management and the client for Mc Dermott team performance Hold authority to direct the Project Team within the bounds of Mc Dermott Policy and have access to Senior Management for resolution of project issues and conflicts Ensure the Project is administered and executed to the satisfaction of stakeholders by the highest ethical and safety standards and compliance with the Company policies & procedures Overall responsibility for managing the large size and complex EPIC projects and for their financial and technical success (on schedule & within budget) Complete responsibility for the management of all phases of very large and complex EPIC projects Take bottom-line responsibilit
