Senior Algorithm Engineer – Computer Vision & AI - Parma - Hybrid - *****k
Role Overview
This position is with a long-established research and development team specialising in cutting-edge perception systems for autonomous technologies.
The group has a strong history in computer vision innovation, later becoming part of a larger semiconductor and AI hardware organisation.
You'll be working on advanced algorithm design for processing and interpreting visual data, as well as contributing to the integration of your work into proprietary automation tools used across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Create and refine algorithms for visual recognition and analysis tasks.
Build and enhance deep learning models for real-world applications.
Use computational geometry methods to address complex 2D/3D spatial challenges.
Collaborate with other engineers to incorporate your work into automated data labelling systems.
Skills & Experience
Strong programming skills inC++andPython.
Hands-on experience with computer vision and AI frameworks such asOpenCV,PyTorch, orTensorFlow.
Solid grasp of deep learning concepts and architectures.
Background in computational geometry (e.g., triangulation, feature matching, 3D reconstruction).
Ability to produce clear, maintainable, and well-structured code.
Premio Skills
Familiarity with container technologies (Docker,Podman) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
Experience in domains such as robotics, autonomous navigation, or automotive technology.
