In this hands-on role, you will provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to both our Milan office staff and our retail store teams.
You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations across end-user devices, hardware, networks, and Point of Sale (POS) systems, acting as a crucial point of contact for local technical support.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libUser Support: /b Handle incoming support tickets and requests from office and retail staff, resolving issues or escalating them within agreed SLAs.
/li libDevice Asset Management: /b Build, configure, and issue laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals; accurately maintain the hardware asset register.
/li libIdentity Access Management: /b Execute Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) processes across user accounts, devices, and access permissions.
/li libRetail Technical Support: /b Support retail stores with POS hardware, payment terminals, receipt/barcode printers, and stock-scanning devices.
/li libNetwork Troubleshooting: /b Diagnose and resolve local network issues, including switches, wireless access points,
structured cabling, and ISP connectivity faults.
/li libOn-Site Retail Operations: /b Attend retail stores for hardware installations, tech refreshes, fault resolutions, and new store openings.
/li libDocumentation Escalation: /b Maintain clear support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Systems Manager and central IT teams with complete diagnostic detail.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul libTechnical Skills: /b Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 administration.
/li libNetworking: /b Solid understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi configuration).
/li libLanguage Proficiency: /b Native or fluent Italian, with professional working proficiency in English for daily collaboration with international teams.
/li libMobility: /b Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to retail stores at short notice.
/li /ul h3Desirable Qualifications /h3 ul liHands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, or Active Directory.
/li liPrevious experience supporting retail environments or Point of Sale (POS) hardware.
/li liFamiliarity with ITSM / ticketing platforms (e.g., Freshdesk, ServiceNow, Jira).
/li liRelevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals).
