We are active in more than 20 countries and regions. /p pWe are currently looking for a bSenior PV BESS Engineer /b to join our Engineering Team in Italy /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the development and execution of comprehensive project plans, defining objectives, budgets, schedules, resource allocations, and performance metrics. /li liOwn the technical scope of utility-scale PV and BESS projects, including component specification, design validation, system integration planning, and technical risk management. /li liDrive and oversee technical reviews of engineering deliverables and supplier documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements. /li liFocus on permitting activities: /li li1. Review and validate executive design from development stage to ensure alignment with company standards, grid codes, and permitting conditions. /li li2.Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation measures. /li li3.Produce, coordinate or review preliminary studies and design documentation during development and execution phases. /li li4.Support MV/HV grid connection topics and regulatory compliance. /li liCoordinate and support RFQ/RFP processes, including preparation of technical specifications, scope of works, design criteria, technical clarifications, and evaluation of EPC, BOS/BOP contractors, and key equipment suppliers. /li liReview conceptual, basic,



and detailed engineering for PV and BESS projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, grid connection requirements, permits, construction feasibility, budget, and schedule. /li liAct as the primary technical liaison between internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle. /li liSupervise the design process and manage technical interfaces to ensure seamless integration between PV, BESS, substation, grid connection, and plant control systems. /li liSupport contract review activities, identifying technical risks, gaps, exclusions, interface responsibilities, warranties, performance requirements, and delivery obligations. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field. /li liMinimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within utility-scale renewable energy projects, preferably involving both PV and BESS technologies. /li liProven experience supporting projects throughout the full lifecycle, from development (RtB) stage to COD. /li liGood understanding of permitting, land, grid connection, and project readiness topics in Italian projects. /li liExperience in dealing with third parties during permitting phase (PAS, AU) and secondary permitting in Italy. /li liExperience with grid connection process with the Italian E-distribuzione and TERNA. /li liFamiliarity with international codes, standards, and regulations applicable to renewable energy projects (mainly Italy). /li liExperience with PV and BESS design tools and engineering software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Project, and MS Office. /li liStrong stakeholder management, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners. /li liLanguages: Fluent Italian and English required; and/or other European languages would be considered an advantage. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
