We are currently hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a well-established international company operating in the automotive sector, for a Junior Accountant position based in the Saronno area, north-west of Milan.The RoleAs a Junior Accountant, you will support the Finance team in ensuring accurate and compliant accounting in line with Local GAAP and Group GAAP. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and international finance teams, gradually developing towards independent responsibility for accounting and closing activities.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable (Sales Ledger)Perform daily banking postings and reconciliationsPost customer invoices and credit notesMonitor outstanding receivables and support debt collection activitiesPrepare and send monthly customer statementsHandle customer account queries (invoices, proof of delivery, statements)Maintain customer master data and credit limits in SAPAccounts Payable (Purchase Ledger)Post expense and stock invoices, including intercompany invoicesPrepare and process supplier and intercompany payments in line with agreed termsMaintain vendor master dataControl purchase orders and ensure proper authorizationManage and post credit card and expense claimsHandle supplier and expense-related queriesTaxes, Payroll & Statutory ReportingSupport payroll reconciliations and statutory paymentsPrepare VAT returns and ensure timely submission and paymentPrepare Intrastat declarations (arrivals)Support annual VAT and employment-related declarations according to local legal requirementsGeneral Ledger & BankingMaintain general ledger accounts and post standard journalsPrepare and post bank journals and perform bank reconciliationsSupport intercompany reconciliationsReporting & ComplianceSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closingsAssist with budget monitoring and reportingSupport internal and external auditsEnsure compliance with internal controls and group finance guidelinesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldFirst professional experience (0-3 years) in accounting is an advantageBasic knowledge of SAP (ideally SAP S/4HANA) and MS OfficeVery good Italian and English communication skillsDetail-oriented, structured, and eager to learnWhat We OfferPermanent position in an international companyCompetitive salary package (€28,000 - €32,000 RAL)Structured onboarding and continuous learning opportunitiesClose collaboration with experienced Senior AccountantsClear development and career progression opportunitiesAbout UsWe are part of Crowe Global, one of the world's leading professional services networks.
