Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Eating Disorder Specialist (Adolescent) to work on a Full-time basis. The role involves providing specialized clinical care to adolescents with eating disorders, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families to support recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of adolescents presenting with eating disorder symptoms, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based protocols for adolescent populations.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions using structured therapeutic approaches such as Family-Based Treatment (FBT) or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E).
• Monitor progress through regular clinical evaluations and adjust interventions as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all clinical encounters in compliance with healthcare documentation standards and maintain confidentiality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Licensed or license-eligible clinical psychologist,
licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or registered dietitian with specialized training in eating disorders.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience working with adolescents in a mental health or medical setting.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for eating disorders, including FBT, CBT-E, or similar approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high standards of clinical care.
