ph3Who We Are /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced Senior Google Cloud Engineer to join a large-scale Telecommunications environment and contribute to the design, development, and operation of cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). /p pThe role has a strong focus on data engineering, data processing, orchestration, automation, and DevOps practices, using Google Cloud technologies including Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery, and Airflow. /p pThe successful candidate will work closely with data engineers, cloud architects, DevOps teams, application teams, and business stakeholders to build reliable, scalable, and automated data platforms. /p pThis is a senior hands‑on engineering position requiring strong technical ownership and the ability to design and implement solutions following cloud and engineering best practices. /p h3What you’ll be doing /h3 ul lipDesign, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform /p /li lipDevelop and operate batch and streaming data pipelines using Dataflow, Dataproc, and BigQuery /p /li lipBuild and manage data workflows and orchestration pipelines with Apache Airflow /p /li lipDesign reliable data ingestion, transformation, processing, and delivery solutions /p /li lipOptimize data platforms for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency /p /li lipImplement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code using GitLab and DevOps practices /p /li lipMonitor, troubleshoot, and support data pipelines, cloud services, and deployment environments /p /li lipEnsure compliance with security, governance, and engineering standards /p /li lipContribute to architecture, technical design, code reviews,
and engineering best practices /p /li lipCreate and maintain technical documentation /p /li lipCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment /p /li lipMentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge sharing /p /li /ul h3What you’ll bring along /h3 ul lipBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience /p /li lipStrong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery, and cloud-native data services /p /li lipKnowledge of GCP IAM, service accounts, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud workloads /p /li lipSolid understanding of data engineering architectures, ETL/ELT processes, batch and streaming data pipelines /p /li lipExperience with distributed data processing, data modeling, SQL, and large‑scale data analytics /p /li lipAbility to optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability /p /li lipExperience with Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or similar frameworks is a plus /p /li lipStrong experience with Apache Airflow, including DAG development, workflow scheduling, dependency management, and pipeline monitoring /p /li lipExperience with Google Cloud Composer is an advantage /p /li lipExperience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD for automated build, test, and deployment processes /p /li lipKnowledge of DevOps practices, release automation,
and Infrastructure-as-Code principles /p /li lipAbility to integrate cloud and data engineering solutions into enterprise CI/CD environments /p /li lipStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting capabilities /p /li lipAbility to own solutions from design through production deployment /p /li lipExcellent communication and collaboration skills in cross‑functional teams /p /li lipExperience mentoring and supporting other engineers. /p /li /ul h3What’s in it for you /h3 ul lipNew beginnings can be a challenge.
