Job Location : Ho Chi Minh.
Overview of the position:
The Business Head Vietnam will have end-to-end accountability for the profitability, growth, and
strategic direction of the Vietnam business. The role will lead sourcing, processing, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring delivery of financial, operational, and sustainability objectives. The incumbent will drive business growth, strengthen market position, optimize assets and working capital, and build a high-performance organization capable of delivering sustainable long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
1. P&L; Ownership and Business Performance:
Own and deliver the profit and loss performance of the Vietnam business.
Develop annual operating plans, budgets, and long-term strategic plans.
Lead monthly business reviews and ensure delivery against volume, revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
Drive continuous improvement in return on capital employed and working capital efficiency.
2. Commercial and Market Leadership:
- Develop and execute growth strategies across key product categories.
- Build and strengthen relationships with strategic customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Drive customer-centric solutions and value-added growth initiatives.
3. Sourcing and Supply Chain Management
- Define and execute sourcing strategies to ensure reliable and competitive supply.
- Optimize procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution activities.
- Ensure effective demand-supply planning and execution.
- Strengthen supplier partnerships and sustainability initiatives across the value chain.
4. Manufacturing and Operations Excellence
- Provide leadership across processing and manufacturing operations.
- Drive productivity, yield improvement, quality enhancement, and cost optimization programs.
- Ensure operational excellence through Lean, Continuous Improvement, and digital initiatives.
- Lead capital investment and expansion projects where required.
5. Risk Management
- Establish and monitor risk exposure limits across sourcing, inventory, and commercial activities.
- Ensure robust controls around commodity price risk, operational risk, and compliance requirements.
- Develop mitigation plans and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.
6. Sustainability and ESG Leadership
- Champion sustainability, traceability, and responsible sourcing initiatives.
- Support delivery of sustainability commitments and customer requirements.
- Strengthen engagement with farmers, suppliers, and local communities.
7. People and Organization Development
- Build, lead,
and develop a high-performing leadership team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Develop succession plans and strengthen organizational capability.
- Foster employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion.

Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Agriculture, Food Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in agribusiness, food ingredients, commodity trading, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
- Strong exposure to sourcing, processing, trading, manufacturing, and commercial operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing large P&Ls; and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, risk management, and value chain economics.
- Experience in Southeast Asia and Vietnam market knowledge preferred.
