Role: Cyber Security Analyst (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to work on a Full-time basis. The role involves monitoring and analyzing security events to protect systems and data. Monitor and analyze security events from multiple sources including SIEM tools, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Investigate security incidents and determine their scope, impact, and root cause.
• Implement and maintain security controls to mitigate risks and prevent future incidents.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, documenting findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools like Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys.
• Understanding of common security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Experience with incident response procedures and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
