The Finance & Accounting team at Grafton, a global brand specialising in Professional Recruitment, is recruiting on behalf of our client, an industrial manufacturing for the steel & foundry, for the following role:
REGIONAL BU FINANCE ANALYST
The position has the double aim to:
1. Provide to management the key information on actual results, including forward-looking analysis and reports. The role will deliver financial insight to support the business and finance in driving performance.
2. Provide accurate analysis of fixed and variable costs for the APU or Plant to either the APU Manager or Plant manager. He’s responsible for preparing the Plant cost dashboard
Key Responsibilities
- Produce standard and ad hoc reports, incl. variance analysis and relevant, insightful and accurate commentary
- Conduct scenario analysis and modelling using data visualization tools to support business decisions
- Monitor performance and provision of regular insight into the drivers of performance, highlighting opportunities to maximize growth
- Provide day-to-day decision support activities, financial management and analytics to understand drive business performance.
- Create and maintain dashboards and standard management packs
- Ensure budget / forecasting, business review, and other management reporting deadlines are met
- Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis, as required to support decision making
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support the delivery of improvements in processes, systems and procedures
- Ensure documentation of relevant processes is created and maintained
- Support internal and external audit queries
- Collect and analyse data to determine variable and fixed per APU
- Responsible for calculation, verification, analysis, and reporting of product costs per APU
- Support inventory valuation and reconciliation (from raw materials to finished goods)
- Prepare the required management information on cost performance and ensures variances, corrective actions are understood
- Review and analyse variances - production process, material usage, scrap
- Responsible for updating and managing costs in the system ensuring product cost is correctly stated
Remuneration package:
- GAS range: 40.000€ - 45.000€
