We’re looking for an ambitious Category Manager to support the growth of one of eBay Live’s key verticals. In this role, you’ll help complete category strategy, support seller performance, and contribute to programming that connects content, commerce, and community.
What You Will Accomplish
- Support GMV growth and seller performance for your category by tracking important metrics, monitoring results, and optimizing programs.
- Manage and support a portfolio of sellers, including performance tracking, day‑to‑day mentorship, and quality checks.
- Help plan and complete category programming, such as themed live events, to drive engagement and retention.
- Work together with Business Development, Marketing, and Programming groups to coordinate inventory availability, visibility, and implementation priorities.
- Support the management of category‑level incentives and promotions, tracking performance and return on investment.
- Use dashboards, market insights, and competitor trends to analyze performance and surface opportunities or risks.
- Prepare inputs and insights for category reviews and broader business updates.
What You Will Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in category management, e‑commerce, marketplace operations, or a similar role.
- Proven experience supporting seller or merchant portfolios and contributing to growth initiative
