Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated In-Villa Dining (IVD) Order Taker to join our luxury resort team in , Maldives. As an IVD Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences from the comfort of their villas. - Answer incoming calls from guests and take accurate food and beverage orders - Provide detailed information about menu items,
including ingredients and preparation methods - Assist guests with special dietary requirements or food allergies - Input orders into the resort's point-of-sale system with precision - Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of orders - Handle guest inquiries and requests related to in-villa dining services - Upsell additional items and promote daily specials when appropriate - Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, pricing, and promotions - Ensure all orders are accurately recorded and billed to the correct villa - Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards Qualifications - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written - Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred) - Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale software - Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, including dietary restrictions and allergies - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management and organisational skills - Food safety certification (preferred) - Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
