Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Computational Biology Expert (PhD) to work on a Full-time basis. The role involves developing and implementing computational models to analyze biological data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems in data-driven biology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop computational frameworks to process large-scale biological datasets.
- Apply machine learning techniques to model biological systems and predict outcomes.
- Develop algorithms for genomic, proteomic, or other high-throughput biological data.
- Interpret results and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
- Stay current with advancements in computational biology, bioinformatics, and related tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field with relevant research experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R,
or C++ for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong background in statistical analysis and experimental design for biological data.
- Familiarity with tools like BLAST, Bowtie, or other bioinformatics software suites.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting project deadlines.
