FCC – Financial Crime Compliance- Officer

Overview
As an FCC Officer for the Italian branch of a European CIB bank, you will implement and oversee a robust compliance program focused on AML/CTF, sanctions, and anti-bribery controls. You will work with local and HQ teams, applying a risk-based approach to ensure regulatory and internal rule adherence. The role involves advising on FCC risks, reviewing policies, and driving training and governance across the organization. You will report to the local Chief Compliance Officer and help shape regulatory reporting and product reviews. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role in a fast-paced banking environment.
Responsabilità
- Identify applicable regulatory and Group requirements and assess impact on processes
- Advise business functions on FCC risks, especially onboarding and transactions
- Review and enforce internal Policies and Procedures
- Assess adequacy of organizational measures to mitigate FCC risk and enhance controls
- Coordinate FCC activities across the 1st Line of Defense
- Provide regular reporting to FCC HQ and local department
- Update the team on compliance issues promptly
- Share best practices across the Bank and with Group Compliance & FCC
- Deliver training sessions to employees
- Support CCO in assessing new products/services and regulatory reporting
Requisiti fondamentali
- University-level degree (preferably in law, business administration or finance/economics)
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Italian mother tongue and fluent in English
- Proven track record in Compliance or Internal Audit or related consultancy
- Strong knowledge of European/Italian banking regulations and AML/CTF/Financial Sanctions
- Knowledge of GDPR, Anti-Usury, Transparency Regulations; MiFID-related activities a plus
