Overview
InvenSense seeks a Sr Staff Test Systems & Technology Development Engineer to lead the next generation of MEMS test platforms based on NI PXI. You will bridge MEMS physics, analog hardware, and software DSP to characterize MEMS structures before ASIC integration. You’ll design custom interfaces (e.g., probe cards, C2V networks) and integrate them into modular PXI environments for ultra-low signal measurements. You’ll collaborate across MEMS, ASIC, and Product Engineering to ensure top performance and quality, shaping scalable test infrastructure and methodologies.

Responsabilità
- Architect and lead end-to-end test systems using NI PXI with custom hardware
- Design test strategies to probe MEMS-only wafers using C2V networks for femto-farad signals
- Create PCB and probe card hardware for ultra-low capacitive measurements and integrate with PXI
- Develop DSP algorithms (FFT, FIR, IIR) for sensor data analysis and calibration
- Develop and maintain robust software in C# to control PXI instruments and automate data acquisition
- Lead design-for-test reviews and align test hardware with product roadmaps
Requisiti fondamentali
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 10+ years in hardware/systems engineering within semiconductor or MEMS
- hands-on NI PXI experience with chassis, SMUs, oscilloscopes, DAQ modules
- proven ability to design low-noise analog circuits for capacitive sensing
- proficiency with board design tools (OrCad Capture, Allegro, Altium) and PSPICE
- advanced programming skills in C# or C++, and Python or MATLAB for analysis
- experience in DSP (digital signal processing)
- academic or work experience in DSP
- troubleshooting across mechanical, analog, and software domains
- critical thinking to solve challenging measurement problems
- ability to distill complex data for cross-functional stakeholders
