Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you safeguard product and process quality across development and manufacturing in the automotive sector. You’ll partner with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to boost quality performance and enable successful launches. You apply APQP, lead quality planning, and drive risk mitigation through FMEA and problem solving. Your work supports continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction.
Responsabilità
- Apply APQP methodologies to support product and process development from concept to launch
- Lead quality planning and ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements
- Facilitate FMEA reviews to identify risks and define mitigations
- Analyze quality data using SPC, Pareto analysis, and other tools to improve performance
- Investigate non-conformities and drive 8D-based problem solving
- Review drawings and specifications to verify quality requirements and manufacturability
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation (boundary books, control plans, inspection records)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
Requisiti fondamentali
- 2+ years of experience in automotive quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of APQP and product/process development phases
- Proficiency with FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Pareto analysis
- Technical ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs
- Fluent English and Italian; strong organizational and problem-solving skills
