Design, build and operate scalable, cloud native platforms and data infrastructure adopting best-practices architecture patterns with a strong focus on automation, observability and reliability
Plan, build, test, deploy, and optimize cloud platforms and services on Azure, AWS, and Databricks, leveraging DevOps practices to deliver secure, reliable, high-performance solutions and enable a data-driven organization
Manage and optimize Linux-based infrastructure and platforms, including system lifecycle management, patching, hardening, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Identify, analyse and resolve infrastructure incidents, CI/CD pipeline issues and deployment challenges while implementing preventive and self healing measures
Oversee and continuously improve application and data migrations to the cloud, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal operational impact.
Ensure high availability, performance and compliance of applications and cloud environments, aligned with company security and governance standards
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Previous professional experience in a similar role in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or modern IT operations
Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure and hands‑on experience operating and automating cloud infrastructures
Solid understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud‑native platforms, IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
Experience with data processing, analytics workflows or DataOps concepts is a strong advantage
Strong Linux administration skills, with proven experience in operating, automating, and optimizing Linux-based infrastructure and platforms
Programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) combined with deep understanding of networking, security and distributed systems
Very good knowledge of English; German and/or Italian as an advantage
