Overview
In this role you will lead sourcing activities for new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. You will drive commodity strategies for project components, support Make-or-Buy analyses, and oversee prototyping and tooling for NPD projects. You will ensure timely project milestones and implement cost-saving initiatives, contributing to successful product launches and supplier partnerships.

Responsabilità
- Lead R&D; sourcing activities during new product development
- Support supplier quality, cost and delivery targets and execute Sourcing actions for each project
- Apply commodity sourcing strategy for project components
- Perform Make or Buy analysis
- Schedule and coordinate prototyping of tools and product samples (Alpha, Beta,
Pilot)
- Ensure all project checkpoint milestones close on time
- Manage supplier tooling for NPD projects (mould negotiations, possession of Datalogic materials)
- Implement technical saving initiatives
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor in mechanical/electronics or economics-related fields
- Fluent Italian and English; written and verbal
- 2–3 years in similar roles
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Teamwork: collaborate well within cross-functional teams
- Customer focus: align with internal customer needs
- Interpersonal characteristics: open, communicative, constructive dialogue
- Familiarity with electrical components and PCB or custom mechanical parts
- Excellent Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP (plus)
