What Do We Do?The shift to electric mobility is happening. Electra is accelerating it. Transportation is one of Europe's biggest sources of carbon emissions. Since 2021, Electra exists to make charging so simple that electric vehicles become the obvious choice for everyone.
Your MissionsAt Electra, we are building Italy’s most reliable and expansive fast‑charging network, and that starts by securing the right locations, from shopping centers and supermarkets to public land, greenfields and private car parks. As Head of Development/Expansion, you will lead our efforts across Small and Medium Businesses, Big Retailers, and Public Administration verticals, managing a team of Business Developers/ Real Estate Developers. You will craft and execute our national expansion roadmap, identify strategic areas for growth, and build high‑value partnerships that drive long‑term impact. Directly reporting to General Manager Italy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our go‑to‑market strategy,
adapting our offerings to local market dynamics and ensuring we stay ahead of policy and regulatory changes.
Your responsibilities
- Define and lead the expansion roadmap for Italy, identifying high-potential development zones and opportunities across sectors.
- Manage and grow a high-performing team covering SMB, Big Retailers, Greenfields and Public Administration verticals, ensuring execution excellence and motivation.
- Build and scale the sales machine: from lead generation to deal closing, ensuring process efficiency and a data‑driven approach.
- Directly own and navigate complex negotiations with major retailers, real estate partners, and public institutions, aligning strategic interests and delivering win‑win agreements.
- Secure internal validation (including investment committee approvals) by presenting robust business cases with strong analytical backing and regulatory alignment.
