Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Salesforce, you own the technical delivery of agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and set coding standards for scalable deployments. You work closely with Deployment Strategists to translate business challenges into deployable AI systems. You stay at the cutting edge by piloting new AI tools and sharing findings with the team. This role combines hands-on development with strategic influence to shape the Agentforce platform impact.

Responsabilità

- Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions from architecture to production handoff
- Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform (agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails)
- Manage data lifecycle: model design and data readiness across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks




- Resolve blockers in data integration, model deployment, and orchestration with a proven track record
- Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting across engagements
- Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs, determining what must be right the first time
- Codify learnings into reusable assets and playbooks for the org
- Mentor engineers via code reviews and pair sessions; provide depth on critical deployments
- Surface field insights to Product and Engineering to inform roadmap
- Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate customer challenges into deployable AI solutions

Requisiti fondamentali

- 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS
