Overview

In this role you will build and own features across the client, server, service, and database layers for Deel’s web platform. You’ll work in a cross-functional, remote-first team to ship robust features, APIs, and scalable data models that power global payroll and HR workflows. You’ll impact product quality, developer experience, and customer outcomes while collaborating across engineering, product, and design. This is a high-impact role at a fast-growing SaaS leader shaping the future of work.

Responsabilità

- Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express
- Design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic (Express)
- Create client-side React components, hooks, and tests to interact with server-side services
- Optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL
- Build reusable, modular components to promote maintainability and scalability
- Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality deliverables




- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to maintain code quality
- Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to team and stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies
- Stay updated with web development trends and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end

Requisiti fondamentali

- At least 4 years of Full-Stack experience with a focus on TypeScript
- Strong background in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using TypeScript, React, and Express
- Experience building client-side components and integrating with server APIs
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and database design
- Ability to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment and own projects
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
- Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving orientation
- Willingness to engage in end-to-end product lifecycle and code reviews
- Desire to contribute to process improvements and tooling
