Overview
Architecture & Technology Engineer in Milan will lead system-level architecture and technical engagements for complex medical and diagnostic programs. You will bring cross-domain expertise to client solutions and shape the technology roadmap. Expect to work with multi-disciplinary teams, build prototypes, and apply emerging IVD, robotics, and embedded AI/ML technologies. This role connects customer needs with robust system specifications and high-impact engineering outcomes.

Responsabilità
- Lead system concepts through workshops and client discussions
- Define and guide architectures across feasibility, PoC, and development phases
- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, controls, embedded software, and sensor teams
- Build rapid prototypes and technical demos for validation and engagement
- Integrate technologies such as IVD systems, robotics, mechatronics, and embedded AI/ML
- Translate customer, regulatory,
and business requirements into system specifications
- Support development in motor control, precision motion, thermal management, and sensor integration
- Contribute to technology roadmap and innovation direction
Requisiti fondamentali
- Mid-level experience in system engineering or complex product development in regulated industries
- Strong background in IVD, surgical systems, or advanced lab equipment
- Expertise in mechatronics, motor control, and sensor systems
- Broad cross-functional exposure across at least two domains (mechanical, electrical, embedded, controls, sensors)
- Familiarity with embedded AI / edge technologies is a plus
- Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders (CTO, R&D;, VP)
- Hands-on, self-driven mindset with independent solution development
- Ability to drive progress with incomplete information and undefined architectures
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Automation, Physics, or similar
- Full professional proficiency in English
