Overview
As Bid Manager you lead the bid lifecycle to enable profitable growth, coordinating internal and external teams to deliver winning proposals. You work closely with Sales, Marketing, and technical leads across international teams to align on commitments, timelines, and cost. You shape win themes and value propositions while ensuring RFQ requirements are met and the initial project baseline is set for the project phase. This role offers exposure to a multicultural environment and high-stakes space programs, with a clear path from bid to project launch. You will be at the core of turning customer needs into viable, compliant solutions that advance TAS missions.
Responsabilità
- Lead the bid activities across the lifecycle and coordinate the bid team and partners
- Interface with internal and external teams to maintain bid timelines
- Set up and manage the Bid Plan following TAS processes
- Contribute to win themes, value propositions, and discriminators
- Define the initial project baseline compliant with customer requirements and strategy
- Ensure bid baseline alignment with RFQ and verify requirements throughout execution
- Oversee on-time, on-cost, on-quality bid execution and provide cost estimations
- Collaborate with M&S; Capture Leader on bid reviews and data packages
- Prepare or review bid and offer documentation and ensure timely bid pack delivery
- Support negotiations with the customer and ensure smooth transition to project phase
- Archive lessons learned and contribute to closing the bid
- Coordinate with Marketing and Sales on DONI bids and customer engagement
- Ensure transition to project launch and deploy post-bid activities
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master degree in Engineering
- More than 3 years' experience in Bid & Proposal management (Space, Aeronautical or electronic industry a plus)
- More than 2 years' experience with Space Agencies (ESA, ASI, EU, etc.)
- Fluent English; French a plus
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legislation
- Ability to work with international teams and diverse cultures
- Strong management skills, multitasking, and ability to handle tight schedules
