Overview
In this role you contribute to ING’s Global Research and Milan-based team by producing macro forecasts and scenario analyses for the bank and its Italian clients. You’ll craft concise notes and in-depth reports, and present views to colleagues and clients, including media. You work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate complex economics into actionable insights, shaping bank strategy and client guidance. Responsabilità
- Produce forecasts and scenario analyses for key macro-economic and financial variables
- Write short notes and in-depth reports on macro topics
- Present key views and forecasts to colleagues and clients
- Interviews with the press
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
- Deliver results within tight deadlines and demanding timelines
- Contribute creative and proactive problem-solving to support business objectives
Requisiti fondamentali
- At least 2 years of experience in economic research
- University degree in economics (Laurea Magistrale, Master, PhD)
- Perfect Italian (speaking and writing) and fluent English
- Strong computer skills with MS Office, data analysis, charts, and PowerPoint
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong analytical skills
