Overview
Join Ramboll Italy’s Site Solutions team as a Junior Engineering Geologist, contributing hands-on to geotechnical site assessment, due diligence for M&A, and soil/groundwater investigations. You will support design work, risk assessments, and technical documentation for land development projects across Italy and Spain. The role offers cross-functional collaboration, development opportunities, and exposure to Eurocode-compliant geotechnical design. Responsabilità
- Organise and supervise Site Investigation
- Support engineering risk assessments, technical documents, and calculations
- Contribute to technical due diligence and soil risk assessment with mitigation aligned to standards
- Assist geotechnical design work compliant with Eurocodes
- Assist in preparation of expressions of interest and tenders with cost estimates
- Develop and technically assure designs, including client presentations and reports
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor in Engineering Geology or Civil/Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software such as Geo Studio suite (Slope/W, Seep/W) or similar
- Some experience in a design environment
- Excellent English written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
