Overview
In this role you will be the trusted adviser for Axon’s value and technical offerings across Southern Europe. You’ll articulate how SaaS and on-premise solutions meet public safety needs, lead PoCs, and support sales campaigns with compelling technical demonstrations. You will work closely with customers, partners and the Professional Services ecosystem to drive successful delivery and revenue. The position combines deep technical knowledge with hands-on customer engagement in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsabilità
- Deliver impactful technical presentations and architecture discussions for customers
- Lead PoCs, RFP/RFI responses, demonstrations and workshops
- Support smooth handover to Professional Services/Partner networks for delivery
- Develop regional thought leadership and roadmap feedback through customer interactions
- Represent Axon at industry events and evangelise technical/value propositions
- Document customer feature requests and drive product feedback to management
- Coordinate customer site assessments and data/infrastructure evaluations
- Share knowledge across customers and colleagues and preemptively address pre/post-sales issues
Requisiti fondamentali
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge in Digital Video, Mobile communications, IP engineering, IP security or SAAS
- Solid understanding of CCTV systems, VMS, and IP networking concepts (Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Ocularis, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenStack) and data integration
- Project management experience for PoCs and successful customer outcomes
- Fluent Italian and excellent English
- Willingness to travel ~70%; valid passport and clean driving license
- Experience with relational databases (Microsoft/Azure SQL) and SAN technologies (advantage)
