Overview
You will lead the commercial strategy and revenue optimization for an Italian utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio. The role sits at the heart of the revenue framework, coordinating market strategy, financing interactions, and performance across multiple markets. You will translate market insights into revenue models for investment and due diligence, while building relationships with traders, utilities, and TSOs. This is a high-impact position in a fast-growing platform driving energy storage deployment in Italy. You will shape how the portfolio captures value across MACSE, Capacity Market, ancillary services, and balancing markets.
Responsabilità
- Define and execute the commercial and route-to-market strategy for BESS assets
- Optimise revenues across MACSE, Capacity Market, ancillary services, merchant and balancing markets
- Support financing processes and collaborate with lenders,
investors and strategic partners
- Present revenue models and market insights for investment and due-diligence
- Track Italian/EU power market trends and maintain relationships with traders, utilities, TSOs and aggregators
Requisiti fondamentali
- 8–15+ years in energy markets, renewables, infrastructure or trading
- Strong knowledge of Italian power markets and BESS economics
- Experience with utility-scale storage projects and project finance
- Strong commercial modelling and contract negotiation skills
- Existing network in the Italian energy ecosystem is a plus
