Overview
As Product Certification Operational Manager in Italy, you will lead the Industrial Safety team, combining strategic oversight, operational performance, and business development within SGS’s TIC framework. You will safeguard accreditations and regulatory authorizations while expanding the Industrial Safety portfolio to meet market needs and align with the global SGS network. You’ll develop internal teams and external experts, and collaborate across borders to deliver international projects. This role offers influence on safety outcomes and service growth in a globally connected company.
Responsabilità
- Lead strategic and operational management of Industrial Safety in Italy
- Own operational performance, resource planning, and P&L;
- Maintain and extend national and international accreditations and regulatory authorizations
- Develop and expand the Industrial Safety service portfolio according to market trends
- Lead and develop internal teams and external technical experts
- Collaborate with SGS affiliates worldwide on international projects
- Support commercial growth through business development and client engagement activities
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
- Business-level English
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in TIC, Technical Services, or Operations
- Proven expertise in statutory and regulatory compliance across competitive markets
- Experience with inspection, testing and conformity assessments under EU framework including Machinery, Lifts, Pressure Equipment, ATEX, Construction Products, NDT
- Familiarity with EN ISO 19011 audit practices (ideally with a recognized body)
- Experience handling claims, complaints, and operational risk management
- Involvement in internationally structured, matrix-based organizations (advantageous)
